Igluu is the ideal environment for professionals who take their work seriously. People who strive for quality and are open to the beauty that arises when passion and talent come together. Since 2009, this positive energy has made Igluu an inspiring place to work, meet, and hold meetings.

Our story

Igluu was founded in 2009 by three enthusiastic freelancers who wanted a “relaxed workplace.” It became the first coworking community in the Netherlands: a place where ambitious professionals can work, meet, and network alongside and with each other. Passion, fun, and knowledge sharing are central. Since 2021, Michiel Morks has been the sole owner and, together with his teams, he manages the locations in The Hague and Eindhoven.

Our design

Imagine a place where you can work without feeling like you’re in an office. That’s exactly what interior designer Marieke Velthuis aimed to achieve at Igluu. With her attention to detail and passion for color, she created a warm, inviting environment. To complete the picture, Marieke collaborated with Espattio & Forma 5, a Spanish office furniture supplier.

Together, they have furnished the location with new, stylish furniture that perfectly matches Marieke’s vision. Each piece has been carefully selected, creating unity between the different spaces. At Igluu, working is more than just working—it’s an experience.
